Position Highlights:
As a member of Stewart’s Accounting Team, you will also be a part of a company focused on providing a trusting and empowering culture to its employees.
You will have the opportunity to work with Stewart’s multiple practices and the amazing projects they create to better the communities we serve.
This role will support several key accounting initiatives and goals and will help in managing many aspects of the accounting function.

Position Qualifications:
• High School diploma required; four-year degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP required.
• Minimum of five years of related accounting experience directly working with accounts payable.
• Experience with Deltek Vision and Concur software preferred.
• Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) preferred.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for an employment-based visa.
• Willingness and ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including but not limited to:
• continuous operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, phone, copy machine, and computer printer
• constant communication with others that involves expressing ideas and exchanging information (in English), as well as observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information
• continuous reading, understanding, and comprehension of direction from written materials.
• Willingness and ability to work in a professional, climate-controlled office environment.
There are moderate noise levels (i.
e.
, business office with computers, phone, electronically induced white noise, printers, occasionally train whistles and light traffic sounds).
The office has exposure to lots of light, both natural and artificial.
The workstation is in an open space layout with frequent collaboration and interactions from co-workers throughout the day.
