*Job Overview:*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate record-keeping, managing financial transactions, and ensuring the integrity of financial information.
The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and overall financial management.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
*Responsibilities include but are not limited to…*
*1.
Bookkeeping:*
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
· Organize and classify financial data to prepare source documents for computer entry.
· Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
*2.
Accounts Receivable:*
· Generate and send invoices to clients.
· Track and follow up on outstanding client payments.
· Record and deposit incoming payments in a timely manner.
*3.
Accounts Payable:*
· Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
· Manage and schedule timely payment of bills.
· Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
*4.
Financial Reporting:*
· Prepare and maintain various financial reports for management.
· Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
*5.
Software Proficiency:*
· Utilize QuickBooks for efficient bookkeeping.
· Excel proficiency for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
*6.
Experience and Education:*
· Prior experience in accounting is preferred.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
· A relevant degree or educational background in accounting or finance is preferred.
*7.
Attention to Detail:*
· Ensure accuracy and completeness in all financial records.
· Identify and rectify discrepancies in financial data.
*8.
Communication:*
· Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
· Provide financial information as needed for decision-making.
*Qualifications *
· Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Familiarity with relevant accounting software (QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
