*SUMMARY*
The purpose of the position of Administrative/ Accounting Assistant is to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks as listed below and as necessary.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate party.
· Key tenant payments, make deposits, and apply late fees.
· Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments, or entering adjustments.
· Look up, generate, and close out work orders.
· Run and post utility reports for multiple locations.
· Assist with filing, scanning and data entry (MS Office, TenMast, etc.
).
· Report copier meter readings and order toner.
· Schedule travel arrangements, prepare travel documents including per diem requests, AP forms, and communicate itinerary to person(s).
· Maintain office supplies inventory and request items as necessary.
· Create badges for employees.
· Other duties as assigned.
*QUALIFICATIONS*

* Must possess the ability to perform tasks with speed and accuracy.
* Must have a valid drivers license with good record.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, co-workers, and persons outside the Authority.
* Ability to deal effectively with sensitive and confidential information.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
*SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED*
The employee receives instructions from the Senior Accounting Specialist/CEO.
Courses of action, deadlines, and priorities are established by procedure, the supervisor, or the employee, depending on the assignment.
Routine duties are initiated by the employee without supervisory direction.
Instructions to the employee may be general or specific in nature.
Problems or situations not covered by instructions are usually referred to the Senior Accounting Staff for resolution.
The employee's work is reviewed periodically for accuracy, completion, and compliance with policies and procedures.
*WORK ENVIRONMENT*
The work environment will be in an office setting with low to moderate noise, require sitting for long periods of time exposure to extended periods of screen time (computers).
Must be able to bend, push, stoop, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
in the performance of office related duties.
This position has no supervisory responsibility and is not eligible for remote work.
