Tax Manager

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services that will increase our firm’s reputation.
You will serve as a business advisor to our clients aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes.
*Responsibilities* * Manage relationships and interact with individual and business clients to provide excellent tax planning and expertise * Manage tax compliance for individuals, fiduciaries, and businesses * Assist in the preparation of client tax returns * Manage planning for clients, including consulting and tax projections * Coordinate with Members in tax planning for clients *Requirements* * CPA license * 7 plus years of tax preparation experience * Experience with CCH tax products a plus * Willingness to work in Raleigh and Durham locations *Skills* * Proven work experience as a tax manager * Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns * Knowledge of CCH tax software preferred and MS Office * Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems * Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships * Strong leadership and personnel management skills * Analytical skills with detail orientation *Benefits* * Potential ownership * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Disability insurance * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off (vacation, holiday, sick days) * Paid community service * Professional development assistance * Relocation assistance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $90,000.
