*Position Summary:*
The Fixed Asset Accountant plays a vital role in maintaining accurate records of company-owned or leased equipment, Machines, Tools, and other properties.
This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and the ability to utilize computer systems and spreadsheets effectively.
*Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):*
· Minimum of a 4-year College Degree in Accounting, or Business-related field
· Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting role in a manufacturing company
· Proficiency in computer systems and advanced spreadsheet usage is essential for performing job duties.
Basic knowledge of ERP system.
*Position Duties and Responsibilities include:*
· Fixed Assets and CIP Ledger Management (70%)
o Maintain and update Fixed Asset (FA) and Construction-in-Progress (CIP) ledgers.
o Prepare month-end accruals and journal entries related to fixed assets.
o Monitor and document all movements of fixed assets, including acquisitions, location changes, modifications, disposals, and changes to operational status.
o Calculate and record depreciation for fixed assets.
o Generate monthly fixed asset roll forward reports and investment tracking reports.
o Conduct biannual plant-wide Fixed Asset Inventory reconciliation.
o Assist in the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
· Financial Reporting and Budgeting Assistance (10%)
o Support the financial reporting and budgeting processes as required.
· Other Assigned Duties (20%)
o Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

* Accurately maintains the FA and CIP ledgers.
* Prepares month-end accruals and journal entries pertaining to fixed assets.
* Documents and tracks all fixed asset movements, including acquisitions, location changes, modifications, disposals, and operational status changes.
* Accurately calculates and records depreciation for fixed assets.
* Generates monthly fixed asset roll forward reports.
* Organizes, controls, and reconciles plant-wide Fixed Asset Inventory twice a year.
* Tracks capital spending and prepares monthly investment reports.
* Provides audit support and budget support annually.

Pay: $60,000.
