As an Accounting Clerk, your more typical responsibilities will include:
Compiling and classify business and financial transactions
Prepare journal entries to accounts in accordance with GAAP and the Company’s accounting policy
Reconcile various accounts and prepare supporting schedules
Calculate and post monthly closing and reversing entries
Balance intercompany accounts
Research and resolve account discrepancies
Support JRE operation by providing information to the appropriate departments.
Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes
Job Qualifications include:
Two year degree in accounting/related or equivalent work experience required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Word
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong attention to detail
Maintains positive and professional relationships with JRE customers and co-workers
Has a relentless focus on the customer and customer service
Listens and communicates well with others within and outside of JRE
Creates a team environment that is positive and productive
Maintains positive and professional relationships with all JRE customers and employees
Motivates fellow teammates
Proactively suggests solutions for process improvement and team growth
