Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities: - Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger reconciliations - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes - Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial statements - Assist in the preparation of financial reports - Support the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations - Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide analysis as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Assist in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and procedures Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related role - Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, AccountingSuite or similar platforms - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills: - Experience in public accounting We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as retirement plans, and paid time off.
