A general contractor in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Project Administrator to join their team.
As a Project Administrator, you will assist the Project Manager and help coordinate the completion of the project from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
• Accounting Processes – manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, billing, and job cost.
• Contract Administration – help execute and keep records of contracts, subcontracts, change orders, purchase order agreements and insurance compliance.
• Project Administration – assist the project manager in communicating with subcontractors, ordering equipment and materials, and submitting applications for payment.
• Reporting – maintain the cost report, change order logs, allowance item logs and project summary reports.
Qualifications:
• Prior administrative or accounting experience in the construction industry
• Acute attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Microsoft products and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience using Sage 300 CRE accounting software a plus, but not a requirement
• Current Notary Public or eligible to apply
