About the role
The Sr.
Financial Analyst is member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Group.
This position supports and partners with many departments across the organization and is responsible for the ongoing evaluation of operational processes, cost tracking, pricing and product offering margin analysis.
The position requires strong collaboration and communication skills; organizational skills; attention to detail; and ability to manage multiple deliverables in a timely manner.
This role reports to the Sr.
Director, FP&A and is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.
You Will
Track business performance against operating plans and prepare variance analyses around gross margins for management and other financial stakeholders
Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research and perform cost and profitability analytical studies
Develop presentations and analytical material to be presented to senior and executive management
Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates
Assist in month-end closing, prepares journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation, and inventory roll forward
Analyze cost accounting data and assist in cost reconciliation
Work with Regional operators to set and track operational goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Develop sales and expense operational reports for field operators
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
4+ years of financial analysis, accounting, or transaction advisory experience
Expert proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent quantitative, written, communication and presentation skills
Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase/SmartView or equivalent is a plus
Experience working with SQL is a plus
