*Position Summary*
This position provides accounting expertise, support, and assistance to the Accounting Manager, the Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
Prepares accounting entries, reviews, and manages accounts, documents financial transactions, participates in annual financial audit process, follows and enforces internal controls, prepares and executes payments, manages the employee expense process, provides financial information and reports to management and Corporate HQ.
Evaluates and manages income and expenditure accounts.
*Position Duties and Responsibilities*
· Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information to ensure sound business practices.
· Manages income and expenditure accounts, ensures balances and transactions are accurate and follow policy and sound accounting practices.
· Documents financial transactions by accurately entering account information.
· Actively participates in month end close, ensuring closing transactions are accurate and executed in a timely manner.
· Participates in financial audits, works with auditors and accounting team to meet audit standards.
· Follows internal controls and ensures others comply with control processes and policies.
· Processes employee expenses, reviews expenses submitted for accuracy and compliance.
· Review and approve Company documents for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
· Prepare and file monthly and/or quarterly Sales and Use tax reports, quarterly Machinery and Equipment tax reports, annual Property tax filing, and other relevant tax filings.
· Prepare Monthly reports and other financial information to management and CFO, including reporting on Inventory and Aging of Account Receivables.
· Oversees posting of Inventory and Goods received.
· Manages Company Assets in SAP.
· May be assigned projects or special assignments.
· Works closely with external Auditors and Tax Preparers.
*Minimum Requirements:*
· Four-year degree in accounting.
Finance or Business with an emphasis in accounting
· 2 years’ experience in accounting.
· Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
SAP experience is preferred, but not required.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
· Fluency in Korean language is strongly preferred.
· The ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities is required.
