What is the opportunity?
This position supports the Wealth Management U.
S.
Credit and Lending Services team for the New York Credit Branch within US Wealth Management by reviewing documentation for various non-individual borrower and or pledgor types to determine capacity, authority, powers, ownership structure and principal(s) to effectively structure signature blocks for loan documentation.
What will you do?
Review Trust Agreements / Wills / Entity / Non-Profit Organizational Documents
Identify Principal Parties and Owners as applicable
Determine authority and powers of identified parties
Understand Governing Law and Compliance thereof
Complete Bank form(s) accurately and completely
Work closely with Lending team to obtain required supporting information
Correspond with Internal Counsel as needed
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
4 year advanced degree from accredited university in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent and / or related experience
7+ years of commercial lending experience, preferably in documentation
Ability to meet all work deadlines
Knowledge of organizational documentation requirements
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with all levels of management
Nice-to-have
Experience working with complex loans and borrowing structures
Experience reviewing organizational and related documentation
Experience working with High Net Worth / Private Banking client base
Well organized, detail oriented, and extremely accurate
