Staff Accountant

com/s/vHOlIRNN2h/97129*_ *Duties* - Duties include processing vendor invoices into the accounting system, obtaining approval for vendor payments, supporting the payment of invoices and accurate record keeping - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes - Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data - Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions - Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide support for decision-making processes - Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other regulatory requirements *Experience* - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred - 2+ years of experience in financial accounting or related field - Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards - Proficiency in financial report writing and regulatory reporting - Experience with construction or property management accounting is a plus - Ability to prepare accurate journal entries and perform account reconciliations - Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar programs - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members This position offers competitive compensation and benefits package.
