Our company is currently seeking an Accounting and Administrative Assistant to join our fast-growing *Raleigh* branch.
The candidate must be a detail-oriented, self-starter who is deadline driven.
This *full-time* position requires a professional who is well organized with strong interpersonal skills and who is able to prioritize assignments.
*Job Description*
* Work with all colleagues on the Finance team to ensure work processes are completed according to accounting processes and all departmental goals and objectives are achieved.
* Maintains and analyzes activities in the accounts payable functions; ensures accuracy and timeliness of manual entries of invoices are uploaded from an automated system into the accounting software.
* Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintains accurate records.
* Review vendor statements; follow-up on missing purchase orders, invoices and/or credit memos.
* Manage relationships with staff and vendors to answer invoice payment questions; react to request/queries in a timely fashion; continually seek out ways to improve the process.
* Assist in month end closing for purchase orders and vendor billing.
* Has the ability to multi-task with excellent oral and written communication skills
* Complete administrative tasks including entering data, filing, scanning, and preparation of routine correspondence and preparing outgoing materials as needed.
* Handle time sensitive and confidential materials and documents.
* Other duties as required and directed by the Finance team.
*Qualifications*
· 3 to 5 years of related experience is required
· Attention to detail is essential.
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
· Must be able to quickly grasp new concepts
· Excels within a team environment.
· Some level of accounting or financial education preferred
* Familiar with standard concepts, practice, and procedures of accounting.
· Strong analytical skills required.
· Be able to build strong customer relationships.
· Strong computer skills required including advanced Microsoft Excel, intermediate Word.
* QuickBooks experience required.
* Strong written, verbal and telephone skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines including month end close timeline schedules.

Pay: $45,000.
