(“Thalle”) is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk.
We are looking for an easy-going team player interested in joining a tightknit team that works closely together in performing Accounts Payable administrative functions for a locally based construction company.
The ideal candidate would feel comfortable and confident learning and performing the following tasks: High volume of Accounts Payable data entry into accounting software and Excel.
Assisting the accounting team with administrative duties such as sorting mail and scanning files.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 1-3 years experience with Accounts Payable data entry preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate.
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook) Professionalism and Confidentiality Time management and ability to prioritize tasks Attention to detail Ability to self-manage work with little supervision Organization and planning skills Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
