Primary Location: United States (US) - North Carolina - Cary Function: Accounting / Finance Title: Senior Financial Analyst, New Product - 104039 Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Senior Financial Analyst, New Products for John Deere Small Ag & Turf located in Cary, NC you will have the following responsibilities: Collaborate with product family & portfolio teams on early business case development and strategic projects Provide financial counsel and leadership-quality presentations to portfolio & business councils and the business unit leadership teams Prepare insightful financial analyses for ad-hoc projects or requests supporting R&D and the enterprise product delivery process Perform financial analysis including preparation of AFEs for new product programs Provide support & work direction Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position.
What Skills You Need 5 or more years of experience with financial analysis, including financial modeling and the discounted cash flow process Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders (within and outside of Finance) and at various levels of the organization Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation preparation skills Demonstrated initiative and confidence in the ability to problem solve with minimal supervision Intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn more about the products, customers, and markets Flexibility to adjust priorities to accommodate the most critical objectives and act confidently in challenging situations Demonstrated capability to understand details, evaluate data, and provide insight/counsel to others Ability to travel on a limited basis, as needed What Makes You Stand Out Financial modeling experience for a manufacturing, financial, or technology company Experience with cost accounting and product cost structure/BOM Experience in a manufacturing or engineering unit Cross functional collaboration experience Demonstrated ability to communicate complex and/or difficult concepts clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders Experience and conceptual understanding of annual cycle and strategic planning activities MBA, CMA or CGMA Education Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting What You'll Get At John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
