We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work in Raleigh NC.
The Team At Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations Technology (FFIO), we support trade processing, trade settlements, corporate actions, income collection, cash management, cash and position reconciliations, securities lending, and transfer agent control and reconciliation.
Our team supports specifically capture and deliver of financial messages along with money movement to/from internal clients and the custodian banks/counter parties.
The Role We are looking for a forward-looking self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This individual must combine their collaborative and customer focused mindset with solid analytical and development skills to provide creative and complete solutions to complex business and technical problems.
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer who will develop and improve software applications using Java, Spring and Oracle using the agile methodology! The Expertise You Have Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject area 6+ years of development experience (currently hands on) in Java, Spring MVC / Spring Core / Web Services (SOAP/REST) and configuring web containers.
3+ years of experience in data engineering especially in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL Working experience in Test/Behavior Driven Development (TDD/BDD) DevOps/CICD experience (Jenkins, uDeploy, GIT) is preferred Familiarity with Agile software development practices a plus You actively participate and contribute to technical discussions and code reviews.
Experience with IBM MQ is a plus Experience with Banking Industry policies and procedures is a plus The Skills You Bring You have proven ability to work independently with limited supervision You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills You have strong collaboration, communication and engagement skills and can articulate and document business/system requirements You have hands on Java/JEE and Open Source skills with the ability to build complex web systems from ground up or interfacing with existing systems Certifications: Company Overview Fidelity Investments is a privately held company with a mission to strengthen the financial well-being of our clients.
