The Finance Direct Assistance Coordinator is part of the Finance team and is responsible for coordinating all direct assistance to clients, ensuring correct grant utilization, program policy adherence, and accurate categorization of expenses.
This position will support programs directly by troubleshooting direct assistance finances and providing accurate and timely reports.

DIRECT ASSISTANCE AND PAYMENTS Verify, communicate about, troubleshoot and file direct assistance requests and other payments (checks, etc) ensuring quality data is sent for disbursement, including compliance to direct assistance requirements by each grant.
Support program staff in troubleshooting direct assistance requests (status of request, missing, duplicated, etc.
) Perform direct assistance data entry into finance databases and systems Proactively audit case ledgers to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Create, maintain, and reconcile case numbers on the financial system.
Ensure client-related financial records are consistent among all platforms (e.
g.
, Dynamics, Fast Track/ERP, bank accounts).
Create and provide direct assistance reports, including overall grant spending and case-level reports.
RELATED FINANCIAL DUTIES Responsible for maintaining bookkeeping supplies in order to fulfill direct assistance (e.
g.
, checks, bank account balances, prepaid cards).
Perform assistance tasks related to annual 1099s for WRD Assist Finance Specialist in various ways with monthly reports for funders Collect and reconcile receipts for credit card reconciliation and troubleshooting Track and update all vendors and payees for WRD Finance team Accountable for keeping the ZBA (national bank account) reconciled.
Perform reclasses.
Responsible for retention and destruction of direct assistance financial records.
Other duties as assigned.

· Year-end archiving activities involve repeated lifting and bending.
