Credible is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented and systematic Operations Specialist to join our team.
As a member of the Loan Operations team, you will use your meticulous attention to detail to process clients' loan requests.
Your analytical skills will ensure our clients' loans are processed accurately to meet our partner lenders' requirements.
In this role, you'll get to work cross-functionally with our Client Success, Systems Operations, Business Intelligence, FIP, and Accounting team, where you'll use your problem-solving skills to deal with complex and interesting challenges on a daily basis.
You Will: Evaluate, analyze, and process customer requests for student loan refinancing, and student loans in an efficient and timely manner.
Monitor submitter crashes and bugs and escalate them to the systems operations team Request information to investigate and resolve complicated cases in communication with our Client Success team.
Upload daily lender reporting into the company's data infrastructure, escalate missing reporting, and troubleshoot issues in our company's data tools.
Assist our Accounting and Business Intelligence teams with billing accruals Take on more responsibilities as requested Sample Projects Include: Providing input on Credible's operational processes and aiding in the design of process improvements Working cross-functionally with different teams and escalating issues when necessary Creating JIRAs and working with our engineering team to troubleshoot issues Education and Experience: BA/BS in Operations, Finance, Economics, or related fields preferred.
A different degree with coursework in data analysis or statistics considered, as is equivalent work experience.
Banking, lending or financial background and experience desired, but a demonstrable ability to accept new challenges and learn things quickly is also considered.
Proficiency with Excel (Sum formula, lookups, moderately complex formulas) required.
Personality and Values: Organized and methodical; you love working through detailed problems and working with data.
Collaborative mindset; you're happy to take on projects both big and small.
Attention to detail; you notice the little things and are excited to speak up and help us improve our processes.
