Position Summary:
As a Regional Accountant, you will be responsible for day-to-day general accounting, reporting, and project analysis for the region.
Collaborating closely with the Regional Finance Manager and client-facing teams, you'll ensure data integrity, manage project accounting, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Accounting:
Collaborate with the Regional Finance Manager and client teams to maintain real-time project financial information.
Assist in project set up, budgeting, revenue recognition, and billing schedules.
Manage client invoicing for fees and expenses.
Financial Operations:
Perform regular general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
Review and analyze monthly results, preparing presentation materials.
Actively interact with client-facing teams to enhance cash flow through Accounts Receivable monitoring.
Financial Reporting and Compliance:
Maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Collect, analyze, and translate financial data into actionable metrics.
Support external and internal audit engagements, preparing audit materials.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Lead conversations with client teams, providing accurate and timely data.
Build financial acumen across the region.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
1-3 years’ experience in corporate or public accounting.
Preference given to candidates with global finance experience in a multi-national corporation.
Preference given to candidates with professional services industry experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Project Management: Prioritize tasks, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities independently.
Client Relationship Management: Effectively communicate across functions and geographies, with a client services orientation.
Financial Management: Understanding of US GAAP, exposure to IFRS, and the ability to identify and resolve financial issues.
Technical Skills: Proficient in ERP systems (Dynamics D365, SAP) and Power BI; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Data Analysis: Interpret data and provide insights gained from analysis.
