Seeking a proficient finance team member who will provide finance, accounting, and compliance to the Production Chemicals and Services (PCS) business.
The successful candidate will be part of the finance and accounting team of 5 members and implement accounting, controls, and compliance procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
In addition, the position holder will provide technical accounting mentorship, identify and recommend operational and compliance related improvement opportunities, and support leadership in achieving of business objectives.
What you will do:
Prepares monthly journal entries in accordance with GAAP and Company policies
Performs key balance sheet reconciliations
Prepares required sales, excise, VAT, and other tax-related documents
Prepares routine and ad hoc reporting to support business requirements
Maintains GL account structure and mappings
Loads data into various financial systems
Assists in Internal and External Audits
Responds to internal customer queries
Assists with cycle count observations at US-based warehouses
How you will get here:
Education
Required: An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
Desired: CPA
Experience
Minimum of 2-5 years of finance and accounting experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Working understanding of financial accounting standards and internal controls
Proficient user of Excel; experience with Infor A+ ERP (or equivalent), PowerPoint, and Hyperion is desired
Proficient verbal and written communication skills; including experience in writing SOP’s and presentation skills.

Less than 25% domestic/international travel required
