About the Role: The Accounting Analyst works collaboratively with other accounting staff to evaluate and analyze financial data.
You will assist in preparing financial reports to the organization related to profits and losses, budget analysis, accounts receivable and accounts payable KPIs, and more.
You will audit business transactions to ensure the company is operating according to accounting principles and financial standards.
This role will also be active in revising departmental policies and procedures, identifying financial process improvements and efficiencies, and managing the recording of customer discount sales contracts in collaboration with management.
Primary Responsibilities: Provide analysis around key financial data.
Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Contribute to the development of the organization’s financial strategies and goals.
Monitor expense and budget data as well as accounts receivable transactions and processes.
Perform routine account reconciliation reviews.
Work with headquarters finance teams to research and resolve discrepancies between inter-company accounts.
Collaborate with Business Systems team to capture accurate and relevant data.
Provide documentation and assistance to both internal and external auditors.
Identify departmental process improvement and efficiency opportunities, ensuring separation of duties and compliance.
Assist with departmental documentation updates as well as sales tax calculations, documentation, and filing.
Manage discount sales contract data and system pricing updates within company ERP and contract management systems.
Monitor sales contract data for incremental price increases, volume rebating, and administrative fees.
Submit payment requests as needed.
Work with Regional Sales Director team on contract expirations, renewals, and extensions.
Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field 5 years of experience in related role Healthcare industry work experience strongly preferred.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles.
Analytical and organizational skills to perform duties and meet deadlines.
Strong critical thinking and math skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic with ability to work independently.
Experience with a variety of reporting tools.
Strong technical ability with ERP software, Microsoft Office, Power BI, and expense reporting software.
