This position is located inside Franklin Correctional Center at the Enterprise Sign Plant.
This position will supervise two subordinate staff.
The primary purpose of this position is to supervise or provide support services to all office and stockroom personnel.
This employee is responsible for training, instructing, and supervising these workers as needed to facilitate work flow, route information, and enhance sign plant office and stockroom operations.
For the office, this includes compiling data and typing of various reports, creating forms, composing memoranda, and being able to retrieve this information from the files, computer, or hard copy, as requested.
For the stockroom, this includes making sure receiving, stocking and issuing procedures are followed and inventory books are updated and coincide with office computer database.
Independently performing paraprofessional technical work involving the maintenance and reporting of financial accounting data.
Positions serves as specialists in an area or program requiring specialized fiscal knowledge, such as, but not limited to, payroll, contract/grants, or other closely related accounting services.
Technical accounting work may include independent responsibility for maintaining accounting records or separate accounts receivable/payable and payroll functions.
Positions in this class may have varied responsibilities affecting the fiscal and financial operations of their respective work unit or involvement in a budget process.
Responsible for analyzing data for accuracy, problem-solving, and interpreting regulations.
Accountable for accuracy of entries and reconciliation of data and information.
Coordinate and/or make recommendations for system changes and may test new processes.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits.
Note to Current State Employees: The salary grade for this position is NC06.

If selected for this position, a new salary will be recalculated taking into consideration the quantity of relevant education and experience, funding availability, and internal equity.
