Pepsi Bottling Ventures is based in NC, SC, MD, & DE.
Purpose of Job: Performs clerical accounting functions pertaining to cash applications to customer balances, invoicing, filing, organizing, and other related functions.
Job Duties:
Applies accounts receivable cash receipts to customer accounts.
Analyzes check remittance details to determine proper application of payments.
Interacts with Accounts Receivable Specialist to facilitate application of cash receipts.
Contacts accounts receivable customers via telephone as required in order to apply cash receipts.
Files the completed batches of cash receipts.
Prepares filed cash receipts batched for off-site storage.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience applying cash receipts to customer accounts.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles is required.
Must have excellent data-entry and analytical skills.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills and strong basic math skills are required.
Must be a team player.
Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
