Payroll & Bookkeeping Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll & Bookkeeping Assistant is a supporting team member to our Finance Administrator, dedicated to assisting the weekly payroll function, general bookkeeping, and reporting.
This individual is part of the Corporate Services division, which serves multiple restaurant franchisees.
This is a part-time, non-exempt professional position that reports directly to the Finance Administrator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll on a regular schedule.
Accurately input and verify employee information, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, and other relevant data.
Calculate and process adjustments, bonuses, and other payroll-related transactions.
Diligently and accurately record/book payroll information into general ledger
Generate reports as needed for meetings, auditing, tax, and compliance purposes.
Assist in recording/bookkeeping of non-payroll transactions as needed.
REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Completed coursework toward Associate or Bachelor's degree(s) or 2-3 years of equivalent work experience
Minimum age required 18+
Propensity toward organization and attention to details
Ability to take direction, receive feedback, and continue personal & professional growth
Commitment to work collaboratively with staff, team, and individuals to accomplish goals
