Position Summary The Americas Commercial Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst I to support the Vascular business unit (BU).
In this role, you will provide financial and analytical guidance in support of strategic and tactical BU goals.
The position will work cross-functionally with key Vascular BU stakeholders and leadership while providing financial analysis and decision-making support for initiatives across the business.
Success in this role requires analytical and communication skills as well as a skillful approach to collaboration and business partnering.
Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, monthly and quarterly close activities, financial reporting and reviews, providing business insights, and ad hoc analysis.
This position will be based in Morrisville, NC.
The office is currently on a hybrid work arrangement; however, this arrangement has potential to change if business needs change.
#LI-LP1 Principal Responsibilities • Prepare and communicate daily sales results to the BU.
• Provide financial insights for business growth trends and profitability through revenue and profit analysis and forecasting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly BU results, including the flash report, communication of variances, new product reporting, standard margin analysis, average selling price, distributor trends, cost center expense analysis, and project expense tracking.
• Supports monthly/quarterly close process regarding operating expense management, general ledger reviews, and projections.
• Participate in the forecasting, budgeting, and strategic plan processes.
Includes coordinating with department stakeholders for financial inputs.
• Work closely with R&D and G&A leadership to review actual results and variances to budgets and forecast.
Provide recommendations and update forecasts.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for BU leadership and BU finance.
• Collaborate and cooperate with other Teleflex departments to achieve objectives.
• Develop financial review presentations for leadership, providing data-oriented insights.
• Manage and mentor the financial analyst intern.
Provide guidance and coaching to other financial analysts.
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requirements and special projects as they arise.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls are maintained and BU financial statements follow corporate accounting policies and standards.
Adhere to Teleflex Code of Ethics and company procedures.
Education / Experience Requirements • Minimum three years of Finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
MBA a plus.
• Experience with SAP and BW preferred.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements • Demonstrated aptitude working with large volumes of data and analyzing trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision • Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Functions).
Strong PowerPoint skills.
Knowledge of Power BI a plus.
• Experience with SAP/ BW, Oracle EPM Planning and Budgeting, and Hyperion FM a plus.
• Commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting multiple goals or deadlines.
