Perform monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts, prepare supporting schedules, and post journal entries
Support treasury activities, such as daily funding and reconciliation of cash accounts, preparation of wire payments, and monitoring for fraudulent activities
Assist with month end closing
Provide support during internal and external audits, such as preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 internal controls testing and compliance
Ensure financial records are kept in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in compliance with company record retention policies
We need someone with…
A thorough knowledge of US GAAP
Familiarity with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Excellent attention to detail with superior organizational skills
The ability to analyze data with a high level of accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word
Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning and Reporting Systems
Integrity and adherence to high ethical standards
Curiosity and inquisitiveness about financial data and processes
Commitment to continuous improvement of processes, analytical techniques, learning and professional development
Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines under pressure
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
