The Amenity Collective is looking for a detail-oriented individual, well versed in general ledger accounting to make an immediate impact to the organization as the Assistant Controller of our Pool Plastering operations.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Assistant Controller is responsible for key financial accounting activities that will include but not limited to:
Oversee the day to day general ledger activities
Play a significant role in the month end close process, achieving reporting deadlines
Maintain key controls surrounding the general ledger process, ensuring compliance with The Amenity Collective policies and procedures
Prepare account reconciliations and general ledger entries
Review finance staff work
Oversee the accounts payable function
Assist in the annual budget process
Assist on ad hoc financial analysis projects and system implementations as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
CPA preferred
Minimum 6 years in progressive accounting experience
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, while prioritizing the critical items
The candidate will be able to work independently and take initiative
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and planning skills
Proficient in US GAAP
Salesforce and Workday Financials experience preferred
