TJT is seeking a Senior Tax Associate become an integral part of our tax team in a full-time capacity.
This is an exciting opportunity to serve as a valued business advisor and deliver industry-focused taxation services to middle market clients.
As a Senior Associate, you will work with firm leadership to serve TJT clients and grow the business, having a direct impact on the firm's success.
To be successful as a Senior Tax Associate at TJT, you will have at least three years of prior experience in public accounting and exhibit diverse accounting knowledge and proficiency with financial statement interpretation.
Additional essential functions and professional prerequisites include:
Preparation and review of business and individual tax returns
Experience using CCH Axcess Tax and Engagement trial balance software
Strong communication skills required for managing and developing client relationships
Exposure to both federal and state tax research
Prior experience closely consulting with closely held businesses
Current CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA certification
Strong technical tax proficiency
