Credit & Collections Analyst

Credit & Collections Analyst The Credit and Collections Analyst will participate in all aspects of credit and collections activities including analyzing new customer application data and account maintenance requests to evaluate risk and assess creditworthiness of individuals, companies, and institutions.
The ideal candidate will perform account analysis, research payments/discrepancies, validate transactions and expedite resolution of billing issues to increase cash flow.

Essential Functions: Research and process credit applications timely.
Work with Credit Manager on complex credit decision making.
Assess and process order release requests timely.
Engage in collections activities on past due accounts and accounts over credit limit.
Update accurate account information including ship to locations and customer contacts.
Coordinate data and participate on customer calls when required.
Escalate and lead all aspects of credit application process within sales/branch/finance.
Identify/track key pipeline transactions to ensure accounts are in good standing.
Handle special projects and assignments for leadership team.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
1 year of industry related credit and collections experience preferred.
Proficient with Office 365 Suite-Excel P21 or similar financial software.
Knowledge in risk analysis.
Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
