The Seasonal Tax Support Administrator is a full-time role that supports multiple shareholders and their teams and serves as a liaison between internal and external customers, relieving the administrative tasks from our client-facing teams.
The Seasonal Tax Support Administrator always presents a professional appearance and demeanor and appropriately represents the firm’s mission, vision, and values.
#LI-DL1 WHAT YOU WILL DO Provide high-level and proactive administrative support for multiple Shareholders and the tax practice Develop an understanding and proficiency in using firm applications and software, including XCM (workflow/scheduling), CCH Axcess (tax software), Adobe Acrobat/AdobeSign, SafeSend (tax processing), Caseware and SurePrep Perform effective project management as it relates to the workflow (tax clients and engagements), including but not limited to: Generation and delivery of client tax organizers; Generation, accuracy, delivery, and receipt of tax engagement letters; Performing all outlined steps associated with the log-in process and staff scheduling; Monitoring workflow tasks and ensure compliance with tax deadlines; Assembling client deliverables (tax returns) timely and accurately; E-filing tax returns and extensions and monitor filing due dates; Sureprep scanning/processing of client documents; Caseware file management and maintenance Coordinate travel arrangements as requested, following firm policies and procedures Effectively work as a team and cross-train with other Administrative Assistants and support personnel to ensure office and practice needs are met Build and develop strong working relationships with shareholders, team members, and peers to understand internal and external client needs and exceed expectations Additional duties as assigned WHAT YOU'LL NEED Associate’s degree or equivalent experience At least 3 years of work experience as an administrative assistant/coordinator, public accounting tax experience preferred Strong grammar and punctuation skills Attention to quality, with an eye for accuracy and detail Exceptional proofreading skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills Flexibility and ability to work well independently Team player, quick study and champion of policy and procedures Strong computer skills, with intermediate proficiency in MS Word, PPT, Excel and Outlook Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel Strong organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
