SodStar (Operated by Buy Sod), a multi-state agribusiness company with sod farms in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida, is currently seeking a motivated Full Time Business Analyst to join our Team.

*Business Analyst Responsibilities:*
* Ensure integrity of data within specified datacenters.
* Conducts cost/benefit analysis as requested.
* Perform various analytical functions, including analyzing proposed introduction of new programs, facilities acquisition, etc.
and provide actionable insights.
* Assist in preparing reporting packages, including analytical review and graphs.
* Assist in planning for long term uses of data.
* Evaluate platforms and processes with a focus on data.
* Complete/Assist with large data updates and maintenance.
* Prepare Inventory Reports (YTD and Future Projections) as required (i.
e.
weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly).
* Cross functional collaboration to assist with data and reporting needs to include Key Performance Indicators.
* Monitor and analyze trends in data in order to prepare summary reports for impact.
* Analyze and report route metrics including the freight cost per sqft/route.
* Utilize advanced analytics to support recommendations on efficiency and/or corrective solution.
* Report Sod Star efficiency in relation to the farm and lead time while taking profitability and capacity contribution into consideration.
* Report forecasted capacity utilizing the budget assumptions (sqft budgeted, and monthly sqft per resource)
* Create fuel and resource recommendations for budget.
* Create inventory reporting monthly allocation report and maintain chemical/fertilizer template.
*Business Analyst Requirements:*
* 3+ years logistics analysis experience preferred.
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Statistics or like field preferred.
* Experience with Acumatica preferred.
* Experience with Descartes Logistics software preferred.
* Must demonstrate ability to be a team player and build positive working relationships with others.
* Ability to discern what issues need to be brought to upper management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Proficient in MS Office, exceptional with Microsoft Excel.
