Assignment will be approximately 6 months.

Must be a resident of NC***
Responsibilities:
* Daily and quarterly reconciliation of player tax withholdings and filing appropriate tax documents.
This includes working with other lottery departments on verification and reconciliation.
* Daily and biweekly reconciliation of player debt setoff.
This includes working with players, other agencies and other lottery departments to determine valid debts owed.
* Daily reconciliation of regional office deposits.
This includes reconciling physical deposits and debit card transactions for vending machine deposits.
* Placing stop payments on checks as needed.
* Check verification for other agencies and banks as needed.
* Other projects as assigned by management.
Skills
* Understanding of basic accounting procedures
* Proficiency in generally acceptable accounting principles and experience using accounting software.
* Ability to analyze complex account reconciliations and resolve problems based on the analysis.
* Detail oriented and able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years’ experience with account reconciliation for general ledger accounts
* Associate’s degree or higher in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
Hiring Range: $24 - 27 per hr
