Project Biller

We are currently seeking a full-time Project Biller with a hybrid work arrangement to join our Finance team.
This role is available at any of our locations within our footprint.
What You Will Do:
As a Project Biller, you will be responsible for the financial function of projects within the accounting database.
You will work closely with Project Managers to ensure the accounting accuracy of projects throughout the project lifecycle.
The Project Biller will be responsible for client invoicing as well as updating WIP reporting and assisting Project Managers with collection efforts per contract guidelines.
Attention to detail, organization, and effective communication are key for this role.
This person should have a positive attitude and be able to work with others to achieve a common goal.
Interpret and input contract details accurately in the accounting database, ensuring alignment with contract terms and company policies.
Verify and edit project rate schedules and demographic data provided by Project Managers.
Facilitate the billing cycle, post invoices to clients, and make necessary budget changes as guided by Project Managers.
Assist in past-due account collection and perform monthly reviews and invoicing of assigned projects through eBilling.
Complete project closure activities, including reviewing backlog, verifying invoicing and collections details, and closing projects in the accounting platform.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years' experience in project billing
Experience in KPI reporting and dashboards
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting or Finance
Understanding of Work in Progress (WIP)
Experience in the engineering industry
Experience with BST software

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.
