The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the Finance department by performing clerical duties related to but not limited to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
This is a FULL-TIME position 40 hours per week.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Setup up vendors.
* Pay vendors.
* Invoice customers.
* Maintain accurate records, and customer reporting
* Reconcile customer payments.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist with audit requirements.
* Answer emails.
* Help collect past due bills.
* Handle the postal needs of the department.
* Schedule appointments.
*Qualifications and Competencies*
* Two (2) years of relevant experience are preferred.
* Strong administrative skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* Good knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop.
* Good knowledge of Google docs, MS Word and Excel.
* Fluent in Spanish/English.
* Ability to work under demanding deadlines; flexible, communicative, and able to work in teams.
* Good decision-making skills based on facts and analyses; must be detail-oriented.
* Good relationship-building skills.
* Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.
* Personal and professional integrity of the highest order.
* Team Player.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.
00 per hour
