General Description
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Financial Analyst works in a fast-paced environment, engaging with a variety of financial, commercial, and executive professionals inside the company.
Primary responsibilities include updating and reviewing weekly forecasting models, term consolidation, and analysis.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring and creating financial models, analysis of complex sales and operational data, and direct interaction with regional leadership.
Financial Analysts demonstrate high attention to detail, are innate problem-solvers, and demonstrate logical thinking.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a team environment, while also juggling multiple priorities on tight deadlines.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Analyze financial data by collecting, monitoring, and creating financial models for decision support
- Improve financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends, recommending actions to management
- Term financial data consolidation and fluxes and prepare reports and projections based on this data
- Assist with annual and quarterly forecasting
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Performs other duties as assigned by Assistant Controller
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Experience: 3-7 years of relevant experience.
- Languages: English
- Technology proficiency is essential, advanced Microsoft skills are preferred.
- Candidate must exhibit strong financial and analytical skills.
Cost accounting experience is preferred.
- Candidate must be client service oriented and demonstrate an ability to problem solve.
- Strong communication skills required.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks, meet reporting deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility with delivery of assignments.
