The position: FullStack is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.
As the Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring adherence to accounting principles.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the executive team to optimize financial procedures and play a key role in the overall expansion of the company.
What You Will Do: General Accounting: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Enter and reconcile book entries.
Have sole responsibility for closing the books each month.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure accuracy.
Manage the company’s foreign currency accounts and FX purchases.
Financial Reporting : Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management review.
Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage annual budgets.
Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis.
Monitor and report on budget performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
Tax Compliance : Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations, and file all necessary tax returns.
Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the company.
Audit Management : Manage the annual external audit process, ensuring timely completion and compliance.
Address audit queries and implement recommendations to strengthen internal controls.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the finance department.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Foreign Subsidiary Management : Oversee the accounting operations of our foreign subsidiaries including transfer pricing, and consolidated financial reporting.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related roles, preferably in the software consultancy or IT services industry.
Experience with transfer pricing, foreign currency management, and other financial matters that arise from foreign subsidiaries Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
Extensive experience and understanding of GAAP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Google Sheets, Quickbooks, and similar systems.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial matters.
