Carillon Assisted Living, a Raleigh-based company in the business of building and operating assisted living communities, is building and opening communities for its new brand, Calyx Living.
As we grow, we are growing the team, seeking to hire an Billing and A/R Specialist to work fully in-office at the corporate office in Raleigh, NC.
Billing and A/R Specialist Responsibilities:
Perform accurate monthly processing of billing statements for assisted living and memory care residents.
Manage census changes (move-ins, transfers, discharges, etc.
) and validate payment details with billing platform.
Prepare monthly journal entries and facilitate month-end close for revenue reporting.
Analyze AR aging and work with community teams to coordinate collection of past due accounts in accordance with company procedures.
Accounts Payable including entering purchase requisitions, and receiving and reconciling invoices to requisitions.
Cross trained to provide payroll support as needed with timesheet validation, wage and position change authorization and new team member validation.
Billing and A/R Specialist Qualifications:
Two to three years of billing experience, with multiple years of Accounts Receivable exposure.
Two to three years of accounts payable experience, including requisition management as well as invoice processing and payment.
Experience in supporting payroll activities is a plus.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Must be service-oriented, with the ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Bachelor's Degree or combination of experience and Associates Degree highly desired.
