Department: Member Account Resolution
Hours: Shift rotates as follows:
One week is 10:00 a.
m.
to 7:00 p.
m.
for four days; one four-hour day; and 8:00 a.
m.
to 12:00 noon on Saturday
The next week is Monday through Friday, 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.
m.
Your impact:
As an Account Resolution Specialist I, you'll have the opportunity to use your persuasive personality to make an amiable impression on the members from whom you're attempting to collect early stage past due funds.
You'll also have the opportunity to use your achievement talent to meet production standards and your detail orientation to ensure that member accounts are correctly handled and notated.
The contributions you can anticipate making:
Achieving production standards (measured through handle time, wrap time, calls per hour, commitments, idle time, quality audits, and promises kept/broken) to minimize the loss that Coastal encounters through delinquencies.
Working independently and prioritizing work to accurately complete assignments in support of the Collections Team goals.
Maintaining accurate collection history logs on all communication with our members, reviewing assignments, and ensuring member accounts are properly handled and notated.
Staying up to date on Coastal's procedures and policies and participating in continuing education programs.
Protecting Coastal and our members by ensuring confidentiality, safety, and security of all information.

Experience:
One year of consumer loan collections or call center experience.
Experience in a role requiring application of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
Experience with debt collections systems preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
