How you'll contribute In this role, you will be a valuable member of our accounts payable team.
You will be responsible for processing invoices accurately and timely, assisting in auditing employee expense reports, and reviewing monthly vendor statements.
You will review and verify transactions to ensure the accuracy of documents for compliance with A/P policies and procedures and generally accepted accounting principles.
You will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders of varying degrees and provide them with timely solutions.
Process vendor invoices and check requests in a high volume environment utilizing two- and three-way match Action paper and electronic invoices into the system utilizing the OCR program Learn and apply knowledge of our company reimbursement policies and accurately audit employee expense reports Review, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status Reconcile vendor statements, research past due amounts, and retrieve missing invoices Process wires for weekly and mid-month payment cycles with accuracy and in a timely manner Determine accurate coding and taxable status by applying knowledge of international and domestic sales and use tax application Action credit applications to establish new vendor accounts and route vendor maintenance requests as needed All other duties assigned For this role you will need Minimum Requirements High School Diploma, GED, or an Associates degree with at least 2 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience OR a Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of full-cycle accounts payable experience At least one year of experience with a general ledger accounting system and ERP experience Proficient in Microsoft Office and intermediate skills in Excel Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly to meet business needs Ability to process multiple tasks in a timely and accurate manner Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Concur experience Bachelor's degree At United Therapeutics, you'll realize quickly that it is not an ordinary place to work!
