Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $22.

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services.

The primary purpose of this position is planning and managing the provider approval notice process, processing and analyzing information from multiple systems and providing technical assistance to local purchasing agencies for provider enrollment in the Subsidized Child Care Program.
Fill Role of Childcare Supervisor in NC FAST Complete roster corrections in NC FAST.
Evaluate over and underpayments generated in NC FAST due to corrections.
Set up deductions in NC FAST for recoupment of overpayments.
Fill role of DCDEE Provider Manager in NC FAST Fulfill ownership role for all out of state facilities.
Serve as first point of contact for all out of state providers for questions related to the process of enrolling in NC FAST.
Maintain electronic documents for all out of state providers.
Enter accurate rates for Certified Developmental Day Centers into NC FAST.
Enter sanctions into NC FAST Enter deductions using the tax levy/unapplied deduction functionality.
Interact with local purchasing agencies as needed to resolve issues concerning out of state providers and Certified Developmental Day Centers.
Other duties as assigned including but not limited to special projects, committees, and cross-training.

Analytical thinking is required to identify issues, obtain relevant information, and relate and compare data from different sources.
Data Collection: Ability to observe, monitor, collect, and record data.
Ability to assess the accuracy, validity and integrity of the data.
Ability to monitor and collect research data to access accuracy, validity, and integrity.
Ability to interpret and evaluate results and create reports.
Must have excellent customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain effective, ongoing, and collaborative, working relationships and partnerships with others in order to encourage and support communication and teamwork to achieve the goals of the work unit.
Operational coordination is needed to facilitate the flow of work for a process or procedure.
Knowledge of appropriate procedures for collecting and reviewing information.
Ability to monitor or regulate those procedures, tasks, or activities.
Problem solving and data collection and analysis skills are needed to evaluate issues and identify needs of customers.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed to interact with a variety of customers and prepare required reports.
