The Division of Workforce Solutions is currently working
a Hybrid (onsite/offsite) Teleworking schedule.

The NCWorks Career Center provides a full range of services to diverse categories of job seekers and employers to meet their employment and placement needs through: assessment and development of job requirements; evaluation of experiences, skills and abilities; referral to jobs, job training programs, or other placement services.
This position is located in the Accounts Payable and Travel Reimbursement Section of the Finance Unit.
This position will be handling Accounts Payable and Travel Reimbursement activities for the division, 22 Workforce Boards, and over 70 Career Centers, ensuring payments are correct and paid in compliance on a timely basis.
Depending on the workload, staffing and deadlines, this position's range of responsibilities will include processing, verifying, and reconciling Travel Reimbursements, Employee Reimbursements, and Travel and Salary Advances.
The position requires close attention to detail and good organizational skills; the ability to prioritize and work under deadline pressure; the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form; the ability to work with limited supervisory input, and the ability to recognize and solve problems on a proactive basis and think analytically.
This position will work with the Financial Accounting and Reporting System (FARS) and reporting program XCloud and other duties as assigned.
