It is full-time (40 hours per week) with State Benefits* This position currently qualifies for a hybrid telework option with routine office and remote workdays.

Telework options are subject to change at the discretion of management.
Description of Work: This position will review funding applications, engineering reports, and engineering drawings/ specifications, provide construction management for funded projects and serve as a liaison for the program to municipalities, consulting engineers, the public, interest groups, organizations, and the Division.
Key Responsibilities: Assists with the development of continuation budgets and review and analysis of expansion requests and budgets.
Monitors a portfolio of DEQ divisions to assure budgetary integrity at the line item level, that legislative mandates are implemented and that budgets are expended to accomplish program objectives.
Interprets, analyzes and reports on ongoing budgetary actions and makes recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the agency budget Assist the DEQ Budget Manager and Chief Financial Officer on special analytic projects as needed.
Division of Financial Services (FSD): The Financial Services Division is a centralized organization committed to provide a variety of accounting, financial, budget, and purchasing activities for DEQ.
Responsibilities include a broad range of departmental accounting functions in the following areas: accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, purchasing, maintenance, of the accounting systems, federal funds administration, contract management, and financial reporting.
