Small progressive CPA firm in Cary, NC is seeking an high-caliber seasonal CPA with 2+ years experience preparing seasonal tax returns for individuals and small businesses.

All CPAs have their own private, furnished office.
The position has a somewhat flexible schedule working onsite in our office and between the hours of 9am-6pm Monday-Friday 30+ hours per week in our Cary location.

The Office is located among a variety of restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations just off the US 1, I-40 and US 64 highways.
The right fit for our team will have:
• 2+ years of public accounting experience preparing individual and/or business income tax returns
• Experience with Drake Software, Quickbooks and Excel required
• Experience working in a paperless environment and ability to learn new software packages
• Must be able to commit to at least 30 hours per week during tax season onsite in our Cary, NC office and willing to work more hours as needed
• Must be extremely detail-oriented, thorough, and organized
• Professional image and positive attitude and a team player
Job responsibilities include the following:
• Prepare and review individual, partnership and corporate income tax returns
• Interact directly with clients as needed-primarily via phone conversations to gather information
• Expert knowledge of NC and Federal Tax laws
• Have a valid current PTIN
