Solid Alabaster Carved bookends, inverted magnolia blossoms - $65 (Raleigh)

I have a beautiful pair of solid carved alabaster bookends for sale.
The bookends are circa 1940s-50s and are of a flower bloom.
It is reminiscent of a magnolia, but could be a poppy or even a lotus.
They are very unique and beautiful.
Alabaster carvings were an export from Italy after World War II in the 1960s.
These are the first bookends I have ever seen.
Dimensions of each individual bookend are: 4 inches wide 2 inches deep 5.
