Antique Wooden Mortar and Pestle Walnut Burl Beautiful Patina Heavy - $190 (n raleigh)

A very old mortar and pestle with beautifully aged patina.
Based on its weight and wood grain, I believe it is walnut burl.
There are checks throughout the exterior part of the mortar but they are stable and as the images show, the pestle has a large crack in it.
There are chips of wood missing from the top edge.
Also, I am not sure if the pestle was original to the mortar.
The weight is 5 lbs.
6 1'/2" tall without the pestle and width of top is 5".
The walnut pestle is 9" long.
