Preschool Teacher
Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and biblical lesson plans for preschool children.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
- Provide guidance and support to children in their daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and bathroom breaks.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and cooperation among students.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's development.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate activities, events, and field trips for the preschool program.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment for young children.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
