*Qualifications*
Lead Teachers:
* 2 years of applicable experience in a licensed child care center or preschool
* Completed Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education / Child Development or related field
* Completed Unrelated degree accepted with North Carolina Credentials and an additional 12 semester hours in early childhood coursework
Assistant Teachers:
* North Carolina Credentials
* 6 additional semester hours in early childhood coursework
* 2 years of verifiable child care experience
*Responsibilities*
* Manage classroom and supervise children.
* Complete daily forms: attendance reports, health checks, daily notes, incident reports, attendance reports.
* Prepare and implement classroom lesson plans, program, and schedule.
* Develop, plan, and prepare instructional aids / materials for classroom activities.
* Assist children with meal times and clean-up.
* Ensure a clean and safe classroom environment.
* Communicate appropriate information to parents; maintain developmental profiles for children.
