Little Treasures Learning Center in Cary seeking applicants who are nurturing, energetic, creative, organized, flexible, and communicates well with children and adults.
We are a small center with 29 children capacity.
Come work in a great teaching environment with toddlers through preschool children where you can share your love for kids, your creativity & dedication as a teacher.
We are looking for an individual who can focus on our young students' academic, social, physical and emotional development and will support our team in their goals of providing a quality education.
Must have 5 years of experience working in a licensed Child Care facility.
Duties include but limited to:
* Be responsible for the welfare, safety and educational achievements of assigned students
* Oversee and delegate educational plan for assigned students including lesson planning, educational goals and record keeping
* Work with other Lead teachers to determine appropriate Parent Education topics, teachers as presenters, and implementation of such events
* Conduct parent-teacher conferences twice yearly and give progress reports given to parents twice yearly
* Oversee first aid and make appropriate parent contact regarding incidents requiring first aid care as is described in Staff Handbook.
* Perform tasks necessary to maintain a clean, orderly and academically-rich environment including upkeep and inventory of materials.
* Delegate and participate in the maintenance of a clean and orderly environment
* Delegate and participate in the upkeep and rotation of classroom materials
* Meet school/state health requirements, including TB test, immunizations and physical

*Infant Teacher Qualifications:*
· NC Early Childhood Teacher Credential ( Required )
· AA or BA in Early Childcare
· 5 years of experience working in a licensed childcare center is required.

License/Certification:
* Completed Early Childhood Coursework
