Position: Healthcare Assistant
Location: Camp Graham, Henderson NC
Duration: Summer 2024
Day in the Life:
Healthcare Support: Assist the Healthcare Supervisor in providing health and safety services to campers and staff.
Medical Record Keeping: Collaborate with the Healthcare Supervisor to maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to state and American Camp Association Standards.
Role Model: Serve as a positive role model for campers and staff, inspiring a healthy and safe camp environment.

Requirements:
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US.
We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visas at this time.
Must be 18 years of age or high school graduate.
Current first aid/CPR certification or must be able to obtain or become certified in First Aid/CPR.
Experience in first aid and emergency management services.
Ability to interact with all age levels.
Physical Aspects of the Job
Ability to lift/assist campers and staff.
Ability to read and follow directions on medication labels, health forms, physician orders, and parent letters.
Ability to use a telephone.
Ability to maintain a written record system.
Ability to quickly get to remote locations on a camp property over uneven terrain.
Ability to observe and assess sanitation and safety conditions of the camp.
Exhibit endurance to meet emergency needs.
Willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours with limited or simple equipment and facilities.
