Join our Johnston County area team as an After School Instructor at our Clayton, NC location! Our Program Instructors provide supervision, homework assistance, and lead enrichment lessons for students 5-12 years of age during non-school hours.
Candidates must lead structured activities such as supervised play, STEM challenges, character development, and games.
Ideal candidates have experience working with school aged children, are able to work independently, have excellent work ethics, and can communicate effectively.
Additional summer hours available upon request from 8AM-1PM or 1PM-6PM, through July 29th.
*REQUIREMENTS:*
Must be 17+ older
Must be patient, enthusiastic and have a passion to work with children.
Must pass criminal background
Must be available to work everyday, Mon-Fri 2:45PM-6:00PM Afterschool
Must be punctual and able to arrive on time as scheduled, daily
Attend staff development and trainings as assigned
Perform other duties as necessary
\*Previous childcare experience is a plus, but not necessary
\*\*BSAC certification is a plus, but not necessary
